KTM Diagnostic

Diagnostic software for authorized workshops and partners of KTM supporting multiple brands. The project was realized in cooperation with byteAgenten GmbH for AVL DiTEST.

As part of the re-equipping of contract workshops with analysis tools, the associated software has undergone a fundamental overhaul in addition to the development of new hardware. The software runs on special tablets and is connected wirelessly to the vehicle to be serviced via a control unit. The range of tasks included conception, design, extending the KTM iconography, final artwork and additional frontend development in close collaboration with the core development team.

Due to the unfavorable lighting conditions often encountered in workshop situations, both information and interaction elements should have strong contrasts. Therefore, "decorative" visualization methods (strong shadows, gradients, etc.) should be avoided as far as possible, with the typical KTM style remaining clearly recognizable.
